Not too cold: There is no specific temperature recommendations for fracture healing, but keep the temperature warm enough to prevent shivering (which would increase pain)  would be wise.

Sleep Hygiene is Key: Keep reg. bed &amp; wake time. Make routine: warm bath /shower, aromatherapy, read, or light music. Sleep in dark, quiet, cool room w comfy mattress/pillows &amp; no work materials or computer. Bedroom only for sleep &amp; sex. No food 2-3 hrs, caffeine w/i 6 hrs, alcohol or smoking w/i 2 hrs of bed. Exercise at least few hrs before bed. No naps. Retire only if tired. Deal wi problems at another time. After 1

my child has a fractured shoulder based on x-rays however all orthopedic surgeons seems to be closed. can this wait until monday (3 days from today) to be seen?

Shoulder  ??: The most common bone break is the collar bone (shoulder?)  which rarely needs treatment beyond what a normal ER doc or pediatrician will do.. The upper arm fractures are usually just immobilized placing the arm in a sling &amp; binding it to the trunk. Ortho's will often wait several days to see patients after initial swelling subsides. You get a more specific response when you provide more detail.

Fracture shoulder: Usually will take 6 weeks to heal if you do not have osteoporosis

how can you take off/put on a shirt with a fractured shoulder?

Carefully!: Check with your physician to see how much motion you can do.  Typically i tell my patients to have someone hold their arm a little bit away from their body with the elbow bent.  Put the arm through the shirt, then put your head in the shirt.  Then you can use your other arm to get the other side in.  But start with the affected side first.

See doctor for: an examination and x ray. Ice it till you see the doctor, If severe pain go to ER.

It's possible:  it could've change your mechanics of the way you use your shoulder. Another thought is that whatever caused the accident and the rib fractures could have also injured your shoulder and that is why you developed the bursitis.

Rib fracture: Inspiration / expiration exercises. Pain medication is your only other option. These heal on there own but are very painful in the process

Other reason: The foot swelling have nothing to with this injury, looks for other reasons , heart problems lung problems are the most common.

: It would need an X-ray examination to confirm a fracture. If you have any concerns, please see a doctor.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
