Splinted?: Is your daughter's fracture been splinted?How do u know she's losing circulation to the finger?If u feel she is call your ors ( or whoever is on call for him) right away and explain situation or go to the er.Check w/ surgeon before loosening the splint bandage . Need X-Ray: You can't tell if a hand bone is fractures just by looking at it.  The old wives tale that says "if i can move it then it can't be broken" is not true.  While many hand fractures do not need specific treatment or simple rest, some seemingly small injuries can cause big problems later.  Injuires that are swollen enough to limit your motion should be checked out with an x-ray.

Stress fractures: can present as low grade pain, Not all the time, but an xray may seem negative at first.  Some nondislpaced fractures are difficult to visualize with xrays unless the view taken lines up exactly with the fracture line. But if you are  talking about having a broken bone with no symptoms at all,  the problem is why would one expect or worry about a fracture in someone without any symptoms?

See your pcp or a local orthopod, to get properly evaluated with an exam and xrays. Only xrays will show the fx and how bad is it?
