i get forearm pain when i lift weights that makes me stop, what can i do?

Therapy, stretching: You should seek medical evaluation if your problem persists, but this symptoms is common in weight-lifters. Lifters generally focus on the major muscle groups (biceps/triceps/pecs/back/deltoids) and overlook the smaller forearm muscles that support the weights during those other exercises. Forearm/wrist/elbow stretching followed by low-resistance forearm strengthening exercises should help.

random severe forearm pain, arm goes rock hard, and swells noticeably & causes severe pain, happened twice in 3 days? should i be worried.

Depends: Hard to say what this is, depends some on what you were doing before the onset of the pain and swelling, how quickly it arose and how long it lasted.  One possibility can be exertional compartment syndrome, but never have seen this in the forearm before.  If this continues you should go in to be seen.

Yes could be: You have firearm pain.  You were texting for several hours and think this could be the culprit.  It could be.  Try a pain reliever and see if it gets better.  In the future try to take a break from any repetitive movements.  Do not text and drive ever.

Muscle pain: Sounds like musculoskeletal pain and not likely cardiac. Should improve with Naproxen or similar in a couple of days. If it does not, discuss with your pcp.

Wrist pain: The type of wrist pain you are describing is due to your hand and forearm being in an abnormal position for hours. The best ways to relieve this is attempting to avoid the activity if possible, mouse/keyboard pads and over the counter wrist braces. Many OTC wrist braces work very well for people with symptoms such as yours in an office setting.

Depends on the prob: Try to use an ergonomic mouse and keyboard.  If that doesn't help then you should be examined by someone who specializes in musculoskeletal medicine.

Depends what it is: Seeing your doc will help to sort this out.  But, it sound like you could have lateral epicondylitis.  Hurts with gripping, grabbing, pulling. Sharp and/or dull pain at the lateral elbow. That radiates up into the arm and down into the forearm.  Treat with ice, wrist brace and exercise but ultimately may need a cortisone injection.

Sounds like you had-: Strained the flexors of your hand, hence causing pain with attempts to make a fist.

You need to be seen by an orthopedist so an xray, ;/or an us can be done to confirm the DX and treatment started.
In the meantime, rest the elbow with rice (rest, ice, compression and elevate)in a sling + pain meds lie with aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen.
Mri might be necessary, if none of the investigations help.

extreme forearm pain from typing at call center. have been at this job 6 years and it's too painful to type. can i get dr's note? don't want to quit

Carpal tunnel?: I think before you try for any sort of note (which you couldn't get from us anyway), you should be evaluated by a Hand Surgeon for consideration of carpal tunnel syndrome. This can be corrected, which means you'd be able to continue working comfortably.

Bumps: Probably need more info. However bumps on forearm can be infection, abscess, skin reactio such as hives or nerves, fibroma. Location, size and number would help to determine.
