Ligament sprain: If your function is back to normal, keep on walking. Try to keep your foot elevated when you're sitting especially. At night you may put a small pillow under your foot. Using a compression stocking may also help. The swelling should resolve soon.

Ligament sprain: You should only start practicing once you're pain and symptom free. If the swelling persists whereas other symptoms are absent, you can try to elevate you foot and use a compression stocking or an ace wrap. You should be able to resume normal daily activity and some strengthening exercises such as range of motion exercises. Also, make sure you use footwear that is protective.

can i take alleve as anti-inflammatory for my foot ligament strain plus tylenol for pain at same time? i also have diclophenac script i have on hand in case of back pain 75mg and could take that if you think that is better. can i still take tylenol?

Meds: yes you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) along with a anti-inflammatory such as diclofenac or Aleve. Just know that the Aleve or diclofenac can cause gastrointestinal upset.

i have my foot wrapped in glue and tape for a ligament problem. it's itching how can i make it stop? a podiatrist wrapped my foot.

Allergy: You might have an allergy to tape.   Remove tape. Call your doctor to see if you can take any medication to help the itch.
