had 2 epidural steroid injections a few hours ago on the left side at l4/5 and l5/s1. my left foot was numb initially, but it went away. now my foot feels like it's asleep again, and it isn't going away. do i need to be concerned about this?

Call pain doc: Without knowing the original reason for injections or other health status, hard to say why the numbness returned. Call the injecting doc as soon as possible, report this event and learn the recommended plan

May be neuropathy: Anytime the sensation is altered (such as falling asleep or pain), it involves a nerve.  The nerve disruption may be a sign of neuropathy.  There are different reasons for this to occur and can be physical from compression of a nerve or a more serious disease, like diabetes. Talk to your primary care physician or see a podiatrist. A good history, examination and some additional diagnostics needed.

Muscle sprain: Try ice to your calf for a couple of days, along with a pair of Advils (ibuprofen). Rest your legs till you feel better. If you see any redness or swelling,  or symptoms persist beyond a week, see your doctor Feel better.

Shoe inserts: It sounds like your feet are not being adequately supported.  Get some insoles for your shoes and see if that helps.  If not, then see your doctor or podiatrist.

broke malleous lateral fibula a week ago i'm in a walking boot doesn't feel too tight but toes and foot are tingling and feel asleep also my foot is really bruised can't loosen the boot any further or it will fall off my foot feels cold ?

Need reevaluated: Swelling may be causing vascular compromise. Need to be seen and possibly put in a different kind of cast. Toes tingling and cold are bad signs and should be looked at immediately

Walk/ergonomics: Get up and walk around more frequently.  Check your chair to make sure your legs are not dangling from cutting off your circulation to the lower legs. Putting a stool under your chair will get the pressure off the back of the legs; or lower your chair to the floor.  Don't forget to maintain ergonomics with your hands ton your keyboard and proper level for the monitor lest you creat strain in neck.
