Have it looked at: If your asking...Better safe than sorry. Is there are an underlying ulcer or is it just a callous..Is there any warty tissue present? Why is it happening? These are all things a podiatrist will help you figure out.

Swelling: Pain and swollen, sounds like a plantar' wart. You can test for it be squeezing from the edges. This generally makes it feel worse. Have your doctor look at it. All the best.

Callus: Callus can be a sign of an area on the foot that have excessive pressure; as a result of this, callus forms to protect the foot. You can bathe the feet in warm water and use a sugar exfoliant with a loofah to remove the excess skin. Do not use a blade at home to remove the callus. Use only a loofah with sugar exfoliant and warm water.

callus under palm of foot i've gotten pedicures, and i continue to trim down the callus and it continues to bring pain in my foot about 2 weeks after the treatment.  is there anything i can do to get rid of it, or what am i doing wrong?

See below: Soak in warm soapy water and then use a callous file or pumice ston the remove the callouses.

Ingrown nail painful: 10 months post removal can be due to few reasons. You may have regrowth of ingrown nail or you may have a matrix cyst formed in corner or slightly  more nail may need to be removed to cure your problem. Either way return to your doctor for evaluation.

Topical antibiotic: After cleaning with saline. Apply protective bangade and avoid pressure on area. Just to be safe, have it looked at by physician to make sure no infection or other issues affect this. By the way. Do not use the shaver again as it obviously is putting you at risk for injury. See a podiatrist.
