Just a thought...: It may very well be that you are straining your abdominal muscles , particularly in the UPPER ("stomach") muscle groups by hanging on to the handlebars of your bike a bit tightly over that 6 miles.

Gas /Air/Peristalsis: Feeling full of "gas" may reflect malabsorption of food (like gluten, lactose), intake of poorly digested food, or choosing foods known to promote gas (beans, fizzy drinks).  Sometimes its more complicated--a stomach emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, and pelvic pathology outside the gut.

Hyperacidity: Can be responsible for the "burning & churning" symptoms you describe. Sorting out the possible etiology (causes) before seeking medical attention isn't a bad idea. If over-the-counter antacids in tablet or liquid form alleviate these symptoms, hyperacidity is a possibility. An otc ppi (such as omeprazole) may produce the same relief. If not, medical consultation is in order.

Many times its heart: Sometimes palpitations from the heart can  feel like a stomach problem. The  opposite is also true. So a n ekg and or a holter along with a GI work up such as an upper GI  may be needed.  The stomach and heart share nervous innervation  and can have "cross talk".  A thorough history and physical  should be able to point your doctor in the right direction.
