my face has been flushed for the past few days now; and i supposedly ovulated last sunday. could this be an early pregnancy symptom?

Wait and see: Luckily in today’s world pregnancy tests are so accurate that one does not have to wait long to find out. A pregnancy test should be accurate about 2 weeks after ovulation. You can take  test next week and find out. Obgyns would not want to “guess” about pregnancy status based on a a very nonspecific symptoms such as facial flushing.

Get seen!: If you are having numbness or weakness in your face during pregnancy, it might be the earliest sign of something called "bell's palsy".  You need to talk with your ob/gyn and get checked out!

Pregnancy/Oily Skin: If you have a problem with acne already, your acne may become more irritated during pregnancy. The extra hormones in your body cause your oil glands to secrete more oil, which can cause breakouts.

Possible but prob: Not , do a blood preg test, assuming it is neg your gyn should check a testosterone level and d- heas level as if they are elevated that needs treatment and your break outs need to be treated anyway depending on what the cause is.

Not pregnant: There r a lot of things that can cause a delayed period but with 2 negative pregnancy tests it is highly unlikely that u r pregnant.Stress alone can cause this as can weight changes,diet, exercise, medications,and illnesses like thyroid disease, diabetes/insulin resistance,PCOS,adrenal disorders, and pituitary problems.See your PCP or gynecologist for a full history, exam,and tests to know 4 sure.

is it normal to get headaches during early pregnancy in your neck and back of head with slight sensitivity to light? chin touches chest fine. tension?

Likely benign: Very likely this is a tension headache like you mentioned. Be sure to stretch your muscles weekly with exercises like yoga. Continue to stay well hydrated with water and clear fluids. Use tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed for pain. If it worsens or you cannot keep fluids down, see your doctor.

You tell Us: None of your described symptoms are diagnostic of pregnancy. And we would not ever speculate.  If your period does not start then you should do a home pregnancy test.

Test for preganancy: You can get an inexpensive urine strip test from your pharmacy that will tell you whether you may be pregnant.  Generally positive within 7-10 days of conception although you may have to test more than once.

Can be: Visit with your doc about this because there are many other reasons for flushing and you may need an evaluation.
