Olecranon Bursitis: Common finding after irritation at the elbow or injury.  Usually goes away on its own, but some physicians suggest draining it, especially if it looks infected.  Get it checked out by your physician.

Bursitis: If you mean Bursitis, that is fluid collection at the outer aspect of the elbow, it usually gets better with some anti inflammatory medications or by aspirating it. However, you need to take care of the elbow by not injuring it or put pressure on it (that might have caused the problem in the first place).

Usually Does: It depends on the reason for the fluid, so it is worth getting checked. If it's blood, it can be drained, if its fluid in the elbow pad (the olecranon bursa) it can be long lasting.

Not normal.: If  it is not infected,  the bursa is aspirated and injected with cortisone. The recovery would be very fast.

Olecranon bursitis: Try wrapping your elbow with an ACE bandage and icing it. Sometimes fluid drained from the bursa reaccumulate. Sometimes antibiotics are needed as well.

Elbow stiff : It's hard to properly address the concern without a physical examination. We usually associate this stiffness with inflammation in the joint. Suspect that there is some level of internal damage in the joint- what type I am uncertain, there are bones, ligaments, and cartilage.

Bursitis elbow: I assume you are talking about the bursa over the elbow which originally had fluid in it.

After the hockey game it sounds like the bursa sac ruptured. This would give pain and inflammation. If the elbow moves well and the patient can do a push-up easily, the bursa  simply released the fluid after trauma and the symptoms should go away quickly.. x-ray if the pain will not allow a push-up

Bump: This is one of those questions that is hard to answer without jumping to a conclusion.  Possibilities include epidermal inclusion cyst or a ganglion.  See your family doctor for an exam.
