i'm 6w3d ga ultrasound normal but showed a fluid pocket by my cervix. what does that indicate and why?

Hard to say: Without seeing the fluid i can only "guess".  It may only be a residual of the "bloody show " that is related to implantation bleed.  Mucous plug may be clear fluid on ultrasound so it is tough to single out one cause. Follow up sono with your provider to see if it goes away.

suppose to have a hsg, they couldn't perform because i have scarring on my cervix. i had ultrasound and found fluid in my uterus. is this bad?

Not unexpected.: If your cervix is scarred and a catheter could not be inserted for an hsg, the opening may be blocked or partially blocked, causing fluid to accumulate in the endometrial canal. The important thing is to address the stenosis (blockage). Your ob/gyn will discuss the underlying causes and treatment options.

my wife s ultrasound report showed her cervix measured 2.9 cms in length. is this normal. and what does it mean?

Pregnant?: Depends why they did the ultrasound. If she is pregnant, how many weeks? This can help give a risk of preterm delivery. If she's not pregnant, it doesn't really mean anything.

i had red bleeding at 19 weeks, i went to the er & babys ultrasound was normal & cervix was closed. doctor checked the cervix & didnt see anymore bleeding, the bleeding stopped right afterwards. could the cause be birth defect?

Unlikely: Birth defects in the baby won't cause vaginal bleeding, there are several causes for bleeding during the second trimester,the most important thing done at the ER is that they made made sure pregnancy is intact and cervix is closed, please see your OB soon for evaluation and continue the prenatal care, wish you a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby

1. Anteverted uterus with thickened endometrium (usually not important but depends on age, mentrual cycle and degree of thinking.
2. Bilateral ovarian cysts - not uncommon, need to know sizes and number of cysts.
3. Normal cervix.

Cervical Cancer: Cervical cancer is usually identified by pap smear, colposcopy and biopsy.   While advanced cancer could be seen on an ultrasound exam, this is not usually the way cervical cancer is diagnosed.

today at my 36 week ultrasound the tech said they couldn't see my cervix and that baby's head down what's going on?

Normal: The cervical length decreases as you approach term.  The thickness of the cervix also decreases in preparation. For delivery.
