Some may be related to pure chance, while other reasons may be related to an increase to exposure to certain infections.  If you are concerned that there could be an underlying deficiency in your immune system, consulting with your doctor would be beneficial for an evaluation.

Yes, you can: Allergies can also cause inflammation of your sinuses. Your symptoms can indicate so many different issues, including bruxism. If your symptoms last more than two weeks, see both your dentist and physician.

Probably not: Flu shots are so easy that they are hardly even noticeable these days.  I cannot imagine how tooth pain would be related to a flu shot.

i took a daytime cold/flu medicine with 650mg acetaminophen 5-6 hours ago. i have a terrible tooth pain that wont go away. is it safe to take a vicodin now?

Toth pain: It is considered relatively safe to do so considering the time between the two but it is best to discuss this with your prescribing physician.

my 4 yr old son was diagnosed with flu a a week ago and is now showing signs of what i believe to be a sinus infection. does he need to take any other trip to the doctor or can he be treated at home? hes having eye and tooth pain from time to time?

: That would be up to the doctor that treats him. Your assumption may be valid or not and the pain may be from retained fluid rather than a secondary infection. Flu A is well known to irritate the structures of the upper airway.

Dont see why not: I can't think of a reason that a flu shot would be precluded by a dental prophylaxis.

Not related: Extraction of teeth should not give you flu like symptoms... You may coincidentally have the flu.

Yes: Especially if they have become infected.

Possible: Sometimes the flu can affect the sinuses in the upper jaw causing sensitivity to the teeth.   Hope your flu goes away quickly and if there are persistent pain in the teeth then see a dentist for an evaluation.
