It is possible: Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) affects most menstruating women to some degree, and can include many different symptoms. PMS symptoms can appear any time in the two weeks prior to menstruation. Some symptoms common to both the flu and PMS include:   joint and muscle pain, fatigue and weakness, headaches, chills, irritability and anxiety.
If symptoms recur every month, it is most likely due to PMS.

Can be a cause  but!: There can also be other causes. It is best to discuss with your  physician.

This is a great drug and it can control your  MS but you need  guidance to take it safely. It is an immunosupressent  and infection can be a risk.

We used the same drug in studies  for Rheumatoid Arthritis and it did great but we  do not have  it availble for RA unfortunately

Sounds normal.: Viral respiratory infections can sometimes affect the inner ear nerve causing some dysequilibrium and vertigo.  This generally passes with the virus.

Maybe: Those in most need of testing are short of breath or have painful breathing on minor exertion as these are likely to need hospital care. For others it is a local/situational issue. How active is the virus in your community? Would you be at risk or exposure at a testing site ? I would  contact the local health department for guidance.

Rest with the flu: Fluids, rest and analgesics (motrin, tylenol, (acetaminophen) etc) are the cornerstones of treating influenza. You will generally feel as if you were run over by truck for sevral days and then be on the mend. If the symptoms persist, you may be suffering from one of the complications and you should see your doctor asap!
