During a woman’s period she may experience abdominal cramping, pain in the back & things, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, increased sweating & loose bowel movements.  You compare.

You could have PMS: Sx's prior to menses. 35 years old would definitely be pretty young for perimenopause. Premenstrual syndrome (pms) symptoms can include pelvic/ abdominal cramping, nausea,  bloating, weight gain, moodiness, irritability, pain ; swelling of breasts, feeling tired, insomnia, headaches, ^ acne, food cravings, ^ appetite, swelling of hands ; feet, dizziness, thinking less clearly, urinary sxs ;.

Visit your doc: She needs to be seen by ob/gyn for a menorrhagia evaluation and get a blood test done for a possible anemia.

Depends: When the body is under stree, le illness, it can affect your hormones.
If your periods are usally. Normal and there is a possibility of pregnancy you may want to check that .
Certainly if you have increasing or persistant symptoms see your doc.

Prostaglandins: There is a surge of prostaglandins just before your period.  These are neurotansmitters and they can definitely cause body aches and even low grade fever (like 99 degrees). These are common, especially for women who suffer from pmdd and endometriosis.  The best treatment you're likely already doing: nsaids like Ibuprofen help to block prostaglandins.  If your worried, check with your md.

Not likely: If a period is normal to longer than usual, it is unlikely to go along with a pregnancy.  If a woman is early pregnant any bleeding around the time of her period is usually lighter and shorter than usual.  However if you are concerned you can check a pregnancy test to see what it shows.
