Abscess?: For the purpose of this interaction, I'm assuming, by "flu symptoms" you mean fever, chills, fatigue etc.  In my experience, recurring sore throat and "flu symptoms" could indicate an abscess which are kept under control, but not completely eradicated, by antibiotics.  See your doctor again and, if necessary, get a referral to an Ear, Nose &amp; Throat doctor.

: The signs and symptoms of these two infections are similar. Loss of taste and smell usually does not occur with flu. There is no specific treatment for either. You may get tested to know the kind of virus affecting you.

Examination: Your sputum may be tinged with blood from an inflamed airway or nasal passage. Other causes include Coronavirus and I would suggest a follow up visit with your PCP or with urgent care.

See a doctor: If you continue coughing without any other symptoms might wait until after 4 wks have passed since conditions like mycoplasma can produce prolonged coughing.  If, however, you have fever, chest pain, headaches, blood in sputum, or anything else persisently, would see a doctor and have history and physical done to ensure nothing serious going on.

Sinus infections: Are localized to the sinus areas in the facial and nasal regions. Flu symptoms may be more generalized and systemic, accompanied by muscle and joint aches, upper respiratory symptoms including the ear and occasionally cardiac symptoms as well.

i took oseltamivar as prevention and at the early signs for flu is that good , what other advices do you recommend at flu season ?

Flu vaccine : Seasonal influenza vaccine is the best idea, along with washing hands, decontamination of surfaces, and avoiding close contact with sick contacts.
