hello  my daughter has lately had short term mermory loss, one of her legs or/and arms going floppy and numb and also has been diagnosed with pandas what do you think the floppy leg and/ or arm could be pls help i am super worried? pls answer?

Get checked..: It is possible this is an exacerbation of her PANDAS and that could be due to a strep infection. So, have her seen and get a throat culture to see if she has strep throat that needs antibiotic treatment. If you think it could be seizure, go to the nearest emergency room and have her checked. Hope she feels better real soon!

is floppiness after legs falling asleep a sign of a nerve condition?

Legs/arms falling: Asleep are from pressure on nerves or decreased blood flow, in that order. Numbness and tingling from nerve pressure is common during sleep when we don't move much.  The numbness etc is temporary malfunction of the sensory part of the nerve. Temporary floppieness is a malfunction of the signals sent from the spine to the muscles.  As long as its temporary, it's normal.

i have resless leg syndrome.  it's big in my feet and starting to be in my arms.  is something wrong?

Let me explain: You have a strong urge to move your legs. These sensations are typically described as crawlingcreeping cramping tingling pulling or tugging. 
Your symptoms start or get worse when you're resting such as sitting or lying down.
Your symptoms are partially or temporarily relieved by activity as long as you keep moving.
Your symptoms are worse at night.
If you have those, check with doctor for help.

can someone who has had arm surgery develop compartment syndrome of the leg relatively soon after the arm surgery?

Yes: Although it primarily effects the legs, it can also happen to the arms, in much the same fashion.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Although most commonly affecting the lower legs, restless leg syndrome can also affect the lower back and arms. The symptoms tend to be worse at night and also with inactivity and are accompanied by an urge to move. Moving only temporarily alleviates the symptoms.

Not in legs: You need to see a doctor. Pain on just one side of the body can be caused by anything from anxiety to serious neurological conditions.

Raynauds: Raynauds syndrome can affect all digits but not the entire extremity. I feel that If your discomfort or color change  involves an entire arm or leg, a different problem is present and your physician is best qualified to evaluate you.

i have compartment syndrome in both my legs and arms. my doctors can not seem to figure out the cause. is there underlying causes to this syndrome?

Not likely: It is very doubtful that you have compartment syndrome, as this does not affect the legs and arms simultaneously.  Exercise induced compartment syndrome involves the legs in athletes, during running.  If you have swelling in your arms and legs, you probably have some other generalized condition and should see a doctor about this.

could chronic hyperventilation syndrome be the cause of paresthesia in legs and sometimes arms?  have had extensive testing but all results are normal

Panic attacks: My guess is that you have panic disorder. There is no such disease as chronic hyperventilation syndrome. A psychologist can help you with relaxation exercises. Also, meds are available which are very helpful in treating panic attacks. Here is a web site to check out:
