Yes: It maybe uncomfortable to insert the enema tip but there shouldn't be any problem using the enema.

Yes: A chronic fissure will often develop a "sentinel tag"  at the base of the fissure.  If you have growths elsewhere it may be unrelated to the fissure.

Depends: If the fissure is acute and shallow, correction of an abnormal bowel  issue will resolve it in 2-3 weeks. A chronic fissure may stop bleeding but may not heal without surgical correction. You need to be properly evaluated with a discussion of your diet, fluid intake, bowel pattern and confirming the diagnosis with followup to confirm actually healing even if the symptoms resolve. hi doctors, i have a question regarding anal fissure/abscess. i doubt that its an abscess, based on images ive seen looks more like anal fissures. i wanted to know who i can go to for them to cut&drain this and if classic smart plan will cover this?

Start with GP: Before jumping to treatment make sure you have the diagnosis confirmed with your GP. Fissures are not commonly cut and/or drained and they are typically seen in inflammatory bowel disease. If surgery needed your GP will be able to advise based on your insurance plan.

Not really: constipation with hard and big sized stool and trauma to the anal area are the main reasons

Yes: I'm sure your partner would appreciate it.  However, there are some contraindications to use of fleets enemas due to the phosphate (such as kidney disease).  Therefore, talk with your physician.

hello, i am healing from anal fissure since 2 weeks and following the home treatment regime. how long should i avoid playing some sport (badminton or basketball). is there a chance that fissure might reopen? also, do fissures ever heal permanently?

: Regular exercise and sports shouldn't aggravate a healing or healed anal fissure but the bearing down like you're straining to have a bowel movement does. If you don't require such a straining motion during basketball or badminton, these activities should be ok for you. On the other hand, weight lifting would be a no no!

i had botox injections in my internal anal sphincter 3 days ago and used a fleet enema (sodium bisphosphate) to go and it burned.is it ok to use fleet after that procedure?

Discuss with doctor: Botox is usually used for treatment of anal fissures and so i assume that you may have an anal fissure. This may be the source of the pain and discomfort and so it may be wise to undergo an evaluation prior to any further manipulation or possible injury with the fleets enema.

Wouldn't think so: Anal fissures are common &amp; usually reflect hard or bulky stools or stools that pass too fast. HPV is a site specific germ &amp; if there is no anal sex (which can cause fissures) there is little reason to expect HPV would be there.

i was checked out by my doctor and she said i have an anal fissure. my question is, do anal fissures bleed a lot? and do they cause blood clots?

Depends: There are a lot of qualitative terms in your question. 

Anal fissures normall cause bleeding that you see on the toilet paper or toilet bowl. A small drop of blood in a large bowl of water can seem like a lot of blood. 

Depends on how you are rating what a lot of blood is, when and where you are seeing it and other symptoms.  

Blood clots are not typical for a fissure, but possible.
