Try stopping it ...: If finasteride is suspected to the precipitating factor according to your observing the sequence of events, just stop its use for 3-6 weeks and see since using finasteride to shrink the prostate for urine flow improvement is not urgent; in fact, taking alpha-blocker will ease poor flow faster. So, report what you observed to your prescribing doc for adjusting the way caring for voiding concern.

i am experiencing a slight burning at the bottom of my pectoral muscles usually once a day for an hour. from stress? from finestride?

Sorry to hear that you are having discomfort. Bottom of the pectoral muscles where exactly? If it is in the middle, just at the bottom of the rib cage, it could be acid reflux or heart burn, which has numerous causes, including stress. If it's chest pain/rib pain, then different story. Hope you feel better soon.

i was prescribed  vicodin and clindamycin.  i also take nexium, (esomeprazole) finestride and bupropion.  bupriopn interacts with vicodin. is it ok to take together?

Safe but less effect: The combination is safe, but Vicodin may be less effective, since bupropion inhibits its breakdown into a more potent metabolite.

i have male pattern baldness (heriditary). but i'm just 23. i read about minoxidil and finestride but side effects are very scary. is it worth it?

Male hair loss: Male pattern hair loss is common.  Topical Minoxidil is the first treatment to try, and is otc so it's easy to get.  Very few side effects, but it only works really well to regrow hair for 1/3 of men (1/3 get peach fuzz, 1/3 get nothing).  Oral Finasteride 1mg helps keep what you have, but does not regrow a lot of hair.  Side effects (libido, etc.) are uncommon, but possible.  See your doc...

im hoping you can help. ive gone on medication called finpecia. its 1mg if finestride. this is purely to stop/slow down hair loss.

the side effects have been quite real. mostly sexual drive. should i be worried about fertility?

Male hair loss ?'s: The ingredient in Finpecia (finisteride) is known to produce decrease in sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and decreased ejaculation, which may persist for months after cessation of use.  It is not so far connected to infertility.

Finasteride: You can take it at any time of the day.  The best time would be the time that you will remember to take it best.  If it is in the morning when you wake up or if it is at bedtime then take it then. Just take it the same time daily, .
