Pulmonary TB: This probably that you may it's possible that you may have active TB, or inactive TB, or scarring from prior lung infection.  
if you are having symptoms of active TB like coughing/weight loss/fever/night sweat/coughing up blood.  you should see a doctor immediately to get treatment.  if you don't have symptoms, you should still see a doctor to see what should be done next.

what does this mean? "reticulohazy densities are noted in the bilateral upper lung zones, more in the right" "remarks: bilateral minimal upper lung pulmonary tuberculosis." is this contagious? doctor did not advise?

: The wording suggests past or current active tuberculosis. The meaning in each case should be correlated with past and current history and other testing to verify whether or not the disease is active/contagious.

: The top tissues of either lung is the typical location of pulmonary tuberculosis infection and any findings suggesting an active infection in that location suggest it as a possibility. However, other tests are required to confirm that possibility and another germ may be the cause.

Possibly: They may..but its not a 100% certainty.  If calcium makes up a significant proportion of the nodular growth..it may be there permanently.  A CT of your chest is needed for sure.  A pulmonary and infectious disease consult should be included as well.

Specialist: An infectious disease specialist or pulmonologist with experience in diagnosing and treating tb would be best to consult. He/she will also review the chest xray with the radiologist who interpreted your films and then recommend any further testing,treatment, or follow-up if deemed advisable.

Mgt: It may be possible to have few or no symptoms and still have TB infection. I would advise checking your TB skin test. If positive along with a Chest Radiograph that shows findings that could be TB, further testing is recommended. Treatment plans will be formulated by your physician. I can review the chest radiograph if it is uploaded.

: Usually ptb stands for pulmonary tuberculosis and the upper lobes are typically affected in the process. Best to confirm with ordering physician who would be able to discuss it in your clinical context.

Need more info: Are you asking whether you need further tuberculosis therapy? It sounds like you have had TB in the past and now have lung changes on chest x-ray. Are the x-ray changes true infiltrate, or merely scarring? Were you treated for TB in the past? With one, or more than one, medicine? Discuss this with your clinician who can confirm whether you had adequate treatment. Hope that helps.
