Probaby: normal post-operative pain...suggest ICE and contact your treating ENT specialist for suggestions/I ASSUME you have a follow-up visit arranged...if pain INCREASING do not wait!!

i have a patch of skin on top of head of penis that always feel dry and weird and it flakes even after using oils and lotions for it. and every single time i get erection it breaks. i think its turning to scar tissue too. what do i do?

PCP or derm : Best would probably be to see your PCP for an exam as it sounds like a chronic condition. If needed a dermatologist may be consulted.

: An exam will be needed in order to elicit a possible cause for inflammation, among others, a cheloid vs an infection will have to be ruled in or out and treated accordingly.

Yes or others: This very well could be scar tissue but it could also be an abscess or small leak. You should discuss with your surgeon asap and schedule an evaluation.

No: The scarring is outside the cranial vault and it's only risk is for visual defect.

See urologist...: From what i can sense on what you described, your condition probably poses no serious healthy concern as long as not hurting, not swelling and thickening, and no expanding. 

For the time being, avoid any further local physical and chemical stimulation if any. Of course, go to see urologist for further attention.

: Seems normal. However, you should see a urologist to check for infection.

what is the benefit of scar tissue vs. normal skin regeneration?

Scar is normal: Healing with scar tissue is part of the normal healing process. At times a scar can become wide - a hypertrophic scar or the scar can keep on growing as in a keloid. Hypertrophic or keloid scars may need some treatment such as surgical scar revision or cortisone injections. See you doctor if you think you are having excess scarring.

can scar tissue be expanded through tissue expansion techniques just like skin can be expanded?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Tissue can be expanded next to a scar in order to remove the scar. You will need the evaluation of a Facial Plastic Surgeon or a plastic Surgeon for this.
