BTW  "Fever Breaks" when you sweat to cool down.

Chills, no fever: Certainly chills can occur without a fever, although it's not that common. I've seen this happen in my elderly folks especially - those who are 'weakened' or immunocompromised may have an abnormal immune response. Usually when chills occur, we will pile on blankets or start shivering to make a temp come up. That doesn't always happen though. Good to pay attention to a patient's symptoms however.

Right now: Just a fever until other symptoms  develop.  Infections tend to 'localize' to a body system and then create symptoms such as a sore throat with strep. There is no way to tell you what it could be now except a fever.

Low grade: viral infection. Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed every 4-6 hrs and use zinc lozenges ( ColdEze) every 3-4 hours. Drink lots of fluids including tea with honey and chicken soup.
