Gastric acid reflux: Hello Carla,

The most common cause of the symptoms you describe is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), commonly  known as heart burn. Consider trying over the counter ranitidine, omeprazole, Tums (calcium carbonate) or Maalox. Avoid foods that worsen your symptoms.
Pregnancy could also cause similar symptoms, so make sure you take a pregnancy test.
If these measures don't help, see your primary care for testing.

Indigestion: If you have always been this way then it's not too uncommon. Some Patients report experiencing nausea after drinking water. We usually recommend that they combined with some additives to give it some flavor. However if this is new it could be due to irritation of the stomach or pancreas. If it's the stomach it's likely indigestion if it's the pancreas you would have severe pains.

Nausea: after drinking water.  Please see your doctor to make sure all is well medically.  Then approach this as an experiment.  Drink some water at various temps., warm, cold, room temp, etc. and see how you respond to that.  Drink at different times of day and see how that feels.  Drink w/food and w/out. Nausea.: you may have inflammation of the stomach perhaps caused by a virus. I would stay on a soft light diet and try antacid after meals

ive had this problem with heat. i get nauseous, dizzy, and lightheaded. it happens anytime im hot, whether it be summer, heater, or shower steam. drinking water worsens the symptoms. should i consult a doctor or is this normal?

Your symptoms are: NOT "normal" ...sounds like you might have a low SODIUM level....this should be checked out..

Not normal: Nausea may be gi-related (food poisoning, peptic disease, gastroparesis, due to biliary ; pancreatic disease, gas/bloat syndrome, small bowel problems). Consider "central" causes: motion sickness, vertigo, migraine headache, brain problems (some very serious). Also, rule out infection (? Urinary tract), medication side effects, pregnancy, ; even reaction to stress. Find ; treat the cause--see doc.

hi i am drinking water regularly buy suddenly from two days my urine frequency is down . i am dei jung enough water but i am not feeling much urine. is it normal plz reply?

: Sometimes your body requires more fluids, especially if you are more active, sweating, etc. so your body will keep more fluid in and your urine will decrease. Does your urine look darker? If so, you need to increase your fluid intake. If this continues despite increasing your fluid intake, then see your doctor to have it checked. Best of luck to you!
