Depends: Some temporary mild increase in liver function blood tests can occur early after gallbladder surgery. If there is worsening liver blood tests, jaundice, vomiting, increasing abdominal pain, recurrent vomiting or other concerns, then call and see your surgeon very soon.

Hypertension : And gallbladder removal itself are not related.  If you are having pain from the surgery, that could make your BP go higher.  Consult with your surgeon if it persists despite pain meds.

Not related: Any cause of pain (including being in the postop period) will cause the BP to rise. This is normal and not to be confused with the disease of "hypertension."  gb surgery doesn't cause hypertension, but the scrutiny of being in the medical system may lead to recognition of a pre-existing condition that previously had gone unrecognized.

Depends on level: Some minor elevation of bilirubin can occur from swelling of the bile duct but should be very short lived.  Marked elevation or prolonged elevation (assuming normal levels pre-operatively) should be evaluated promptly, with ultrasound and in some cases, x-rays of the bile duct (also called ERCP or mrcp).  Any other associated symptom, like abdominal pain, fever, should necessitate emergent tests.

Probably normal: It is common to have elevated liver function tests, or lft's after gallbladder removal during the first couple weeks or so postop. Fatty liver, or hepatosteatosis, can also cause slightly elevated lft's.  Currently, most doctors think fatty liver is not a progressive disease leading to liver failure like cirrhosis, but it is relatively poorly understood. Hope this helps!

Workup continues: Jaundice at any time is a problem in differential diagnosis. Entities that your physicians are considering include a common duct gallstone, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, damage or occlusion involving the common duct during surgery, hepatitis / cholestasis from a medication or anesthesia, delayed hemolysis after transfusion or from a rx. They need to sort it out. Good luck.

ERCP: Many laboratory values can be elevated after manipulation of your biliary tract with ERCP and stent placement since it is an invasive procedure. Your laboratory values are all relative and your provider can trend them. The important thing is to have close followup with your gastroenterologist regarding these lab values and/or any new symptoms like abdominal pain or nausea/vomiting after ERCP.

after surgery patient will feel tired, drained, fatigue

some will have more pain than others
