what could be causing my increased tiredness? lately, i get extremely tired around 5pm for the rest of the night. i eat and drink ok, sleep ok..all for the most part. no matter what i try, i still feel that way?

: Fatigue has a lot of causes both physical and emotional. If you have not seen your doc, it would be a good time for a systems check. If you have, are you worried about anything?  If n9t be certain you get adequate sleep at night, eat healthy diet, and do exercise each day. Good luck

Tired: Yes , depression can give you symptoms of fatigue. However, you should see your doctor for a full physical and blood work to include a full blood count and test for thyroid function

Are you sure you are: not pregnant? These are signs of pregnancy. Otherwise,you could have a stomach ulcer or gastritis which might produce these symptoms.

: You should keep a diary about this.  What brings it on. How do you get rid of it etc.  your body is talking to you. Take good notes and discuss with your Dr. if taking any meds for anything review with your Health care provider.

Probably: If you are not starting to feel any better by day 5 of what may be just a viral illness, then you have to start considering other causes such as a UTI or STD's. Continue to push the fluids as you are, but time to have a few things checked. The fatigue is likely just your body's way of saying "I'm sick" and slowing you down.

i feel muscle pain  on the slightest effort, and i have bad taste in my mouth and also tiredness ... i  drink  coffee just to keep up, and i hate it.

Need evaluation: You need to see your doctor to have this evaluated.  There are too many things that can cause your symptoms including autoimmune/rheumatologic disease, hormone issues, metal poisoning, infections, sleep apnea...One thing for sure, these symptoms are not normal.  See your doc, find the cause so you can treat it. Good luck.

Not advised: Lucozade contains mostly sugar as it is an energy drink. With gastroenteritis, you need to replace electrolytes. Try isotonic.
