Maybe just GERD, or: Aerophagia (swallowed air) distends stomach &amp;may result in burping.Also, gassiness/ stomach distension after meals can reflect: 1) partial gastric outlet obstruction due to gastritis/ulcer; 2) pyloric narrowing from scar;3) gastroparesis due to delayed stomach emptying (as w/diabetic gut neuropathy); 4) bacterial overgrowth in gut; 5) any malabsorption; 6) pancreatic maldigestion; 7) ibs; 8) more.

Sounds like: you are swallowing AIR when you eat. Try eating more slowly. Do not mix fluids and solid food during the meal.  Obviously avoid carbonated beverages.

i get symptoms where my heart skips a beat then i feel like i have to burp. once i burp or have a bowel movement the skipped heartbeat goes away. why?

Cardiac: Not uncommon to have skipped beats but if they persist or worsen seeing your doctor would be a good idea. It is likely when you burb or have a bm you create a pressure which can reset your heart.

i just recently had a egd procedure done ,and i was found to have the following..gastritis; reflux esophagitis with spasm; stage b, gastric ulcer,duodenum erosions...also had barium swallow.why does it feel like i have to burp always and i cant do it?

Esophageal spasm: It is likely that the esophageal spasm gives you the sensation of incomplete burping. You have significant structural and functional abnormalities if the upper gi tract and tight followup with your gastroenterologist will be critical going forward.

i have a mild sore throat that feels more scratchy when i swallow. my voice is slightly horse. feels like i have to keep swallowing too sometimes i feel like i have to burp, no heartburn. does this have to be gerd or can it also just be a virus/cold?
