Viral mgt: It may be a viral illness, similar to the Flu. Try checking your temperature at regular intervals, stay well hydrated and please follow up with your physician. Viral illnesses typically will last around 10 days.

Virus: Sounds like you're coming down with something.  Rest, drink plenty of fluids, avoid giving your virus to others.  If you have been feeling like this for more than a few days and it's not clear to you that it actually is a virus, then you should go get checked out - get an exam, possibly have some blood work done.

hi, my father is 62 and has recently started having dizzy spells.. he has no pre-existing conditions. when this happens hes weak, his temperature goes from very hot, to very cold, but no fever; could you help me understand why this could be?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably a neurologist. Make sure he drinks enough water so that his urine is mostly colorless. Wish you and your father good health!

Get checked: Dizzy comes in 2 varieties - lightheadedness where you feel like you might pass out or vertigo where it feels like you or the room is spinning.  Both have different causes and both could be serious (but usually aren't).  Regardless, you should get it checked to determine what exactly is going on and get appropriate treatment

Honestly...: To be honest with you dizziness is one of the most challenging symptoms there is in medicine. So many conditions present with dizziness that even when we have information about other symptoms it can be difficult to make a final diagnosis. My suggestion is to see a doctor so you can get examined and have tests ordered as needed and required.

Yes: Endocarditis is no disease to shirk.  Based on the facts listed above, please make sure you follow up closely with your cardiologist or internal medicine doctor. i'mextremely tired and a little dizzy, i am on day four of what  is a cold no fever a little diarrrah yesterday. should i be worried is this common?

Yes: That is normal. Make sure that you are not pregnant first. Keep yourself hydrated with Gatorade and soup. Don't drink alcohol. You will be fine.if your symptoms persist more than  10 days or so then go see your primary care physician.
