Unclear question: There is fat in stools of all people. Blood in stool is abnormal and needs to be investigated. Parasites are not common in the USA, as compared to that prevalent in poor tropical countries. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

i had a stool test done becaue i had a upset stomach for awhile. my doctor put me on a pill for acid and i seemed to be feeling better. tonight i got home from work and had a message that the fat in my stool was high.  i'm worried sick..should i be?

How do you feel?: There is often some mild fat malabsorption after a viral or bacterial intestinal infection. You'll probably either get some labs drawn for gluten enteropathy now, or get followed for a while.

Baby's pooh can look strange and depends on diet.  Changes in the look of the pooh is to be expected with introduction to various solid foods around six months.

Fat in stool: Fecal fat generally speaking may indicate a malabsorption problem. However this is usually with large quantities of fat in stool. It's  concerning if associated with weight-loss  or foul smelling stool that floats. If the symptoms are transient and very few globules are found, it probably doesn't require any acute treatment. Your doctor may monitor the child for weight changes or do a stool study.

Therefore, it's often harder to diagnose. The antibiotics used are different and if it becomes severe it may require hospitalization. If you're not getting better, ask your physician what he /she thinks and if a chest x-ray is warranted.
