i was treated for an abscess tooth today. had mild facial swelling on right side of face, but is getting worse. is this normal?

Facial Swelling: This can be swelling of the parotid gland, a skin type allergy, a sensitivity from some prior trauma. 
The list of skin conditions is huge!
Needs a complete evaluation. 
You could try a very low dose of antihistamine to see if that helps.

stuffy nose & facial swelling on right side of face late last week. swelling is gone, but nose is still stuffy; got pressure around eyes/nose/forehead; scratchy throat; tired & feel slightly feverish. possible sinus infection?

: Those are sx of a viral infection and covid-19 infection needs to be ruled out. Treatment is only supportive with OTC meds, as needed.

Periorbital  edema: Very typical that with head injury one gets craniofacial trauma. Swelling normal and will get better three days after incident.

With medication: 48-72 hrs minimum. What medicine were you given for treatment. 12 hours is too early to see effects of therapy.

i was bitten by a tick 2 weeks ago and had head and facial swelling, i went onto antibiotics and since then my eyesight has improved daily. why is this?

Blepharitis: It is possible that you nay have had some concurrent eyelid disease (ie blepharitis).  Oral antibiotics can improve the lid disease and secondarily the vision.

Rare: Shingles without a rash is rare. Could the facial swelling be an allergic reaction or be due to a tooth abscess? Have your md check you.

Probably no: Lymph nodes are usually enlarged due to an inflammation causing increased fluid and or increased white blood cells within the lymph nodes. That inflammation's cause can be a simple mild infection or inflammation.  Unless the TMJ is associated or caused by an inflammation or infection within the joint, then the surrounding nodes could swell.
