Open sores: They may have been sebaceous cysts which you scratched and they became secondarily infected. See a doctor so you can get antibiotic treatment

Clean and wait: If it is a scratch and very superficial it will likely heal well, unless infected.
If it is a cut  and deeper, it will scar. Plastic surgery may be required after stable in six months or so

Scarring: Sunlight can cause darkening of the scar tissue.  If you are going outside be sure to apply high quality sunscreen to the skin for protection.  Applying vit e gel will also aid in healing.  Due to the depth of the scratches there may be some permanent scarring.

Antibiotic ointment: Yes, any antibiotic cream will help in the healing and prevent infection of the small scratch. Make sure you are using a condom while it heals in order to avoid bacterial or fungal infection and irritation.

i have a small, brown mole on my face that i have always had. it never changed, but i accidentally scratched at it and made it bleed. now, it has scabbed up. i'm wondering when it heals if it will look as it always has before (size, color)?

: Yes.  I would use some topical to keep the lesion moist while it heals  Follow up with your PCP or a dermatologist.

Your age?: It is hard to tell without you giving us any detail on the history or even your age. Although itching often points to an allergic contact condition( hair preparations especially black hair dye) , it may also be from a skin cancer.  Best to get them checked especially if you are over age 50.

Be patient with acne: Retin A (tretinoin) cream like any other acne medicine generally cause some degree of skin flare up following its initial use. A safe rule of thumb is to stick with the initial treatment for a minimal of 2-3 months, anticipating that it may get a little worse before getting better for this chronic condition.  Use anti allergy OTC pill to help with itching.

Balanitis: Friction rub unlikely. Balanitis is term for inflammation of head of penis: infectious and non-infectious causes. Infectious include std (herpes) and yeast (common in diabetics and uncircumcised). Non-infectious include eczema, fixed drug eruption, dermatitis (allergic, irritant), or other type of skin lesion. If std unlikely and persists, can see md for DX or trial of otc 1% Hydrocortisone cream.

Depends on how large: or deep the wound is under the eyelid is, or how the wound came to be. Is it blunt trauma? Animal bite? What is the origin. You are at the maximum point of contracture for the wound now. May be good to get a 2nd opinion from University of Cairo Ophthalmology Department. (Contact Dr. Rania Ahmed Salem) who can help you. She is an oculoplastics surgeon in the Department, and an associate professor.

Less likely: If there is an indentation in the bone/ separation of the subcutaneous tissue likely the defect remains without filling over and becoming level/uniform.
