See an Eye MD: You could be having an allergic reaction to the glue or worse.  You must be seen by an ophthalmologist.  We never recommend eyelash extensions.  In the future consider latisse (bimatoprost).

Multiple Complaints: He needs to be evaluated asap to rule out something serious. Puffy eyelids, face, headache (increased blood pressure), dark urine are signs of kidney disease. No more delay. Also needs to rule out substance abuse!

Sounds allergic: What you describe sounds more like a allergic reaction to something you put on your eyelids. I would avoid all make up and try to find out what is causing this. You can use a steroid used for eyelids but this should be prescribed for you after you have been seen by an MD as you cannot just put any steroid on the eyelid. Duct inflammation another possible cause. See MD for proper diagnosis.

does antihistamine pills like zyrtec (cetirizine) help with the lower eyelid puffiness?

It Can: If your lower eyelid puffiness is caused by allergies then Zyrtec might help though a nasal steroid spray like Nasacort (triamcinolone) or Flonase will work better.  If your eyelid puffiness is from lack of sleep or genetics then it will not help.

Eyelid edema: Following intense emotional situations with crying, runny nose, and lots of wiping eyelids and nose secretions, the eyelids often swell, eyes look red, and the ocular surface may be slightly irritated. Mucous is generated by the eye in response to the irritation. Sometimes contamination can be introduced into the eye with all the wiping. Not usually an infection results, but if worse, see eye doc.

Depends: May be due to fluid retention, aging/relaxation, loss of sleep may contribute but not usually cause. Loss elasticity allows morning swelling as fluids move from your lower arms/legs where accumulates during walking, daytime. Recommend try to watch salt intake, use cold packs when you wake, and sleep with head elevated 30 degrees. Laxity of skin with aging is common cause of the wrinkles.

would spending too much time on technology make my eyelid more puffier? as i spend more time on my phone, my eyelid are more becoming more heavier.

Technology &amp; eyes: Staring at a computer or phone can dry the eyes because we do not move them around the way we would do otherwise.  Please see your doc to make sure all is well medically.  Then, remember to move your eyes a little rather than staring at the screen.  Look at something else completely every 20 minutes or so for a minute or so.  Peace and good health.

Yes: it is not normal.  It gets better during the day because of gravity but there is excessive water in you

Maybe: Puffiness of the lower and upper lids can result from fluid retention, sometimes worse in the morning due to lying horizontally while sleeping.  When you stand up, gravity pulls the fluid down.  The most common cause of "puffy" lower lids is fat prolapsing forward mimicking swelling.  The upper lid skin can stretch and become redundant with age appearing swollen.
