hello, i have blepharitis/demodex mites. i started using cliradex wipes. hoping that will work. i have eyelash loss on bottom right lid, maybe 6-8 lash gap, comes in very sparse. sparse on both lids. will lashes grow back, even after years of this?

: They should grow back, get your doctor to write an Rx for Latisse which will help the process of lash regrowth.

Try Latisse (bimatoprost): Could be alopecia areata or thyroid disease. See your md for an exam and lab work up.  Latisse (bimatoprost) might help them grow back.

i have an eyelash stuck under my upper lid and it's causing a lot of discomfort. i have slept on it but there's been no change, what can i do?

Wash eyes: If tou place your eyes under a running tap  the offending eye lash should be washed off. It may take about 5-15 minutes but it usually takes care of it. If it does not you should see a doctor who will be able to invert the upper kid and remove the eye lash. He may also prescribe artificial tears to soothe eye.

i have a skin colored round bump on my upper lid . that is also growing into my eyelashes. not painful. what is this ?

Hard to say: This could be many things.  A stye, a basal cell cancer, a skin tag.  Many, many possibilities.  Really needs to be seen to know for sure.

my 2yr old had an ingrown eyelash on her upper lid, i pulled it a few days ago but its still a hard bump.  should i wait to see if it goes down?

Ingrown eyelash: Try warm compresses 3-4 times a day to soften it. If persistent, bring her to an  ophthalmologist.

Warm soaks to start: Chalazion is a swelling in the eyelid caused by chronic inflammation of a small oil producing gland (meibomian gland). It is usually localized as a pea-like lump and is a reaction to trapped oil secretions which may become secondarily infected. When small and without symptoms, it may disappear without treatment. If  large, it may cause blurred vision.Treatment includes warm soaks and antibiotics.

i got an eyelash strand stuck in the corner lid of my eye..having trouble getting it out. will my body naturally get it out if i cant?

Maybe: If you wet a q-tip and drag it over the lash you can usually draw it off the inner eyelid surface. Get close to a mirror and coax it out.Otherwise this will be quite distracting.

Not sure: Chronic blepharitis. Rarely sebaceous cell/squamous cell carcinoma. It needs to be checked out.

Droopy eyelids: can be fixed surgically if necessary.  Please see your doc to start.  He/she will likely refer you to the proper professional for help.  If you get surgery you will see your eyes again and see better.  Peace and good health.

Nocturnal eye swell: May have chronic sinusitis or nasal congestion and when you sleep because of gravity it flow into the subcutaneous tissue around the eye. Elevate  head of bed, consider antihistamine before bedtime, follow up with ENT
