Punctal plugs: Dry eyes are not due to contact lenses, but are made worse with contact lenses.  You may want to stop wearing contacts, ; wear your glasses.  The other choice is to get some punctual plugs put in outgoing ducts of tears into nose.  It is a simple procedure ; covered by insurance. The best part is when using tear or any drops the drops stay longer and do not go into the throat right away.

Yes but why?: I assume you are talking about cosmetic lenses to change the eye color or appearance.  These do come in plano which has no correction.  But it depends upon your eye problem.  If you are being actively treated for an eye problem, best to consult with your treating ophthalmologist to see if wearing any type of contact could be safe.
