Yes: There are certain disorders that affect the front surface of the cornea and a laser can ablate (remove) that surface. Disorders include superficial corneal scars, anterior stromal dystrophies and recurrent erosions.

Not much: ..In past few years since lucentis (ranibizumab). Some longer acting injectables on the horizon so fewer injections. A drop form just got approved for further study- that would be a remarkable advance.

Cataract surgery can: Cause a small lowering of eye pressure in some patients (it's variable), and will essentially negate the risk of angle closure glaucoma (a specific type of glaucoma).  By and large, this surgery is done to treat cataracts, though, and not for any preventive reasons.

Yes, : Yes, depending on the technique you can achieve 20/20 or better uncorrected vision in most cases.  Most studies achieve this benchmark in 90-95% of patients.  I personally had intralase lasik on my own eyes 4 years ago and still have a 20/10 result (about 3 lines better than 20/20).  Provided you are a good candidate and willing to tolerate a small chance of surgical complications then the surgery results are quite good.  For full disclosure, individual results do vary for many different reasons which your surgeon can discuss with you. Eye: it may be due to anxiety and you may not recognize this. try to relax and it should gradually improve. If it doesn't then let a physician have a look at you

Partly,: Persons with dementis blink a lot less than needed. You see them staring off into space. The eyes are usually red form dryness irritation. Use lubricating eye drops as needed-; refresh, systane or blink eyes drops all are available as over the counter treatment.

i have a burning sensation, like a sunburn, in most parts of my body including my trunk and back of my head. i have general anxiety disorder. what can i do to stop the burning pain? is there a treatment or medication i can take to stop the burning?
