Yes and no.: Tuberculous lymph nodes should shrink with successful treatment, but maybe not all the way to normal size.  Lung scarring would not be caused by "extra pulmonary" tb, but there have been pulmonary TB first that scarred or some other lung process.

Yes: Slowly, painfully, many have before effective treatments were developed. Nowadays, the risk is minimal, particularly if you are otherwise in good health. Tb is very treatable with minor exceptions.

TB treatment: First you need a diagnosis so you need to see a doctor immediately.  Mask to prevent spread. A TB culture will be obtained.  Most start 4 antitb medications until its know to which medicines the infection is susceptible (takes about 1mo).  Then decrease to the fewest number of medicines possible based on the culture tests & based on your disease burden & your treatmt response.  Most cured in 6mo.
