Branch of Facial n: Chorda tympani is a branch of the mastoid segment of the facial nerve. Contain preganglionic parasympathetic fibers which innervate the submandibular and sublingual glands. Also contains afferent taste fibers from anterior 2/3rds of the tongue destined for nucleus of solitary tract.  Does not travel through internal acoustic meatus.

Urethritis: It is possible that you are masturbating rather roughly, which can pull on the meatus and cause stretching and irritation. If you are using lotion to masturbate, it may have alcohol or other irritants which get inside the urethra. Try a hypoallergenic lubricant instead. The bump may be caused by scarring from repetitive trauma. See a urologist if it persists.

Several things: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

Not a concern: If there is no pain and no other part of the glans affected, it is likely nothing to be concerned about...possibly brought out to view by the engorgement/erection process and you see it "after ejaculation". Of course without seeing it, I cant tell you 100%, but sounds to be of no concern and not likely contagious.

What kind urethrits?: Something doesn&#x27;t compute. Urethritis (usually with discharge, +/- painful urination) usually is gonorrhea, chlamydia, or nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). Maybe herpes if the &quot;bump&quot; is painful or blister like. Assuming a doctor has diagnosed urethritis, s/he probably prescribed treatment for these STDs. That&#x27;s what will cure it, not fluid intake or changes in masturbation practices. Speak with doc.
