i gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy and now struggling to lose the weight despite eating clean,attempts to reduce calories and exercise as the extra weight causes persistent foot pain. do i need to see a dietician or is my metabolism slow?

Count the calories: Use breastfeeding to burn up stored calories. One can get her pre-pregnancy weight back, and work out with weights to get in great shape again, but cannot truly get her "pre-pregnancy" body back. That is because a pre-pregnancy body is a different stage in a woman's life than a post-pregnancy body. Her primary care doctor can check for a hormonal imbalance, and check the foot issue too.

Bouncing can help: You could also do pretend jump roping for a total of 60 minutes a  day in 10 minute sessions.  Eating eggplant can be a help. Stripping membranes is not a good idea unless the cervix is effaced completely and beginning to dilate since it can cause rupture of the membranes  and a need to deliver in 24 hours to prevent infection.

Possible but unlikel: Unless it caused major internal damage to ovary, tube, or uterus, it is unlikly to affect future pregnancy.

Early pregnancy: Any mass should be evaluated.  An ultrasound would be helpful to confirm fetal viability and dating. An abdominal exam would help make sure that what you are feeling is normal.   The ball you are feeling could represent a hernia.  Or, you may be off on your dating and the ball you are feeling may be the uterus.  This may indicate that you are further along in your pregnancy.
