Why oh why?: I'm not sure why you have diahhrea now but we want to be sure that you don't get dehydrated. If you can't get hold of your OB you should go to the ER

Not to worry: That is just what it sounds like, your stomach moving liquids around.  Those sounds really have nothing to do with hunger anyway.

Alignment of uterus: The alignment or tip of your uterus does not put you at increased risk for miscarriage.  If that were so, we would warn all women with a backward or retroverted tilt that they were at increased risk.  They aren't.  It's a normal variant in the human population.  You have no reason to worry that a retroverted uterus increases your chances for miscarriage.

34w pregnant and having sharpe to dull pains on left side all day. is this normal or should i call my dr?

Maybe normal: It could be round ligament pain if associated with movement, but it could also be other things like a kidney stone or gas.  Even though its the weekend, your OB provider probably has an answering service.  I would call the office and discuss your pain.

Accepted Answer

Some creams but, : If you are pregnant, it usually goes away delivery.  Otherwise there are over the counter and prescription fading creams.  If cream is used, use thin even layer and avoid sun exposure.

Now!: Bleeding any time demands attention and more so during pregnancy. If it has not subsided, go to the emergency room.

Consult  Derm/GYN: I would advise no chemicals while pregnant- Have skin checked by dermatology and consult your GYN.

if i had herpes while pregnant would my doctor call me?

Accepted Answer

Herpes simplex: I would imagine that your doctor would let you know if they felt that you had been tested antibody positive so that there would not be transmission of the virus to your baby during passage through the vagina at time of delivery, but do not know if that is a universal standard of care.  If you have had prior genital herpes you should discuss this with your obstetrician.

what to do if i have a rare condition call ectodermal dysplasia and i want to know if this will effect my pregnancy?

Shouldn't, but...: Your disease should not effect your pregnancy, but some forms if ectodermal dysplasia are inherited. You may need to meet with a genetic counsellor to discuss your risk.

i think i'm pregnant i have all the signs and my pants don't fit me anymore. the tests are negative. could i call in & ask to schedule an ultrasound ?

Possible pregnancy: Sounds like a simple office visit and exam with a gyn specialist would help. An ultrasound could be done there or scheduled if needed.
