i am very anxious/think bad things like impending death for me or my mom every day.heart rate went from 107-157 in 60 seconds, crying, blood shot eyes, tight chest for no reason at all. resent my boyfriend although hes great. all dr said is do yoga?

Hmmm....: In such situations, that could be all the doctor said, or it could be all that the patient remembers the doctor saying, or it could be just the part that the patient's brain decided to keep. Life is complex. Anyway, psychiatric symptoms need psychiatric solutions. One can ask her doctor about medications, probably short term at first. Also, finding a psychologist can be a helpful thing too.

im young and just had an ekg. it shows consistent with anterolateral infarct and consistent with inferior infarct. probably old. does this mean ive had a heart attack? im so scared and crying my eyes out. i only went in for mild chest pain?

: Your EKG detected nonspecific ST elevation and T wave changes, which are often misinterpreted as "infarct" by the machine.  This EKG strip has to be read by cardiologist in the context of clinical scenario.

If the swelling is..: ..From crying, then it will go down naturally after you stop.  That said, tea bags (black tea) are an excellent compress for the eyes.  They contain tannic acid, which is a natural astringent and anti-inflammatory.

Temporary: Your vision will recover from the crying.  Crying removes the mucous from the surface of the eye making it dry.  This blurs the vision.  The mucous layer will recover in a day or so.

Eyelid edema: Following intense emotional situations with crying, runny nose, and lots of wiping eyelids and nose secretions, the eyelids often swell, eyes look red, and the ocular surface may be slightly irritated. Mucous is generated by the eye in response to the irritation. Sometimes contamination can be introduced into the eye with all the wiping. Not usually an infection results, but if worse, see eye doc.
