B12 Vitamin: Generally, there is no risk of toxicity from too much b12, however, if taken at same time with antibiotics for acne, such as tetracycline, it can lower effectiveness of the antibiotic. Some reported adverse events include allergy, fever, headaches, joint pains, upset stomach, swelling, dizziness.

ITP: You really should discuss this with your hematologist who treated your itp and/or whomever follows you for this condition. I cannot personally recommend you to take an "herbal concentrate" since it is not monitored by the fda and side effects have been reported.

No: This is a water soluble vitamin and the body will lose excess by urination. However moderation is an important rule of thumb and there is no reason to take more than 1, 000 units a day even in documented deficiency.

Take only if needed: If you are vitamin B12 defecient, then a B12 supplement can help with anemia and nerve function.  If you are not B12 defecient, the it will not help.  Overdosing of Vitamin B12 can cause nerve dysfunction, diarrhea, and other side effects.  My general advice is that if you do not have a vitamin defeciency, the a general multivitamin once daily is all that you need.

Cirrhosis: Cirrosis, chronic hepatitis, may cause artifically elevated B12 as the liver store vit B12 and also prodcue the proteins that bind vit B12 in the blood. If the liver is sick, it can not produce the binding  proteins and when measured vit B12 appears as it is elevated, as only the un-bound form of vit B12 is measured.

Loss of $: The contents of the pill you are taking are not clearly defined. In any case, you are probably not doing yourself any favor by taking an expensive food supplement. If you are deficient in B12, injections of the vitamin would be indicated. If you are not deficient you are just wasting your money.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Vitamin B12: If I have a patient with a B12 level less than 400 and have neurological symptoms I would provide them supplements.  Your tremors may or may not be related to the B12 deficiency.

Your pain is likely: related to the strain from pulling the wash line.  Please have your doc check.  Experts on vitamin D3 recommend between 50 &amp; 80 lab values for optimal health.  Your doc will be able to tell you your level.  Peace and good health.

: I would go to uptodate and read all about B12.  Than discuss with your Dr. would be very unusual. Affects brain first.
