Your symptoms: are best explained by your viral infection and are unlikely to be bacterial...Sounds like you are doing exactly the right thing!  Many of these late summer viruses may last for a depressingly long time!!!

Cut throat: How or why did you cut your thorat? if it was self harm please call 1-800-273-8255. There is always hope and better times  . For the pain tr ycepacol lozenges as they contai an anesthetic. also swishing and swallowing Mylanta/ Maalox 3 x a day  may help as it  is an antacid ( digestion occurs in acid environment)

Nothing: warm water gargles and zinc lozenges. If bleeding is profuse: go to the ER.

Sjogren's dryness:  This may be related to the The dryness related to Sjogren's. Otherwise I have no other explanation. You can discuss this with your rheumatologist.

Esophageal spasm: Cold liquids can sometimes trigger spasms of the esophagus.  Esophageal spasms can cause difficulty swallowing (dysphasia) or pain.  Suggest you see a gastroenterologist for an evaluation.

You have the answer: You may add non-caloric flavoring. Try some fruit flavoring, eg. with slices of lemon, orange, strawberries etc, rather than chemical flavoring.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i came down with cold sweats, this morning, a rash over my chest, back, neck, behind my ears & into my hair line. food/drink have an iron aftertaste.
