Generally safe: Ginger is generally considered safe during pregnancy, although  of course depends on how you are using it.  Avoid ingesting more than one gram daily in any form.  topically, and as aromatherapy, no evidence of harm.  other medical conditions are important to consider in each individual case.  consult your doctor who is familiar with your history and pregnancy

can krill oil cause nausea at 1,000mg, how longer after stopping taking does it subside?

Yes, a few hours: Virtually any pill can cause nausea. While nausea is not a common side effect of krill oil it is definitely possible. It is less likely if you take it with food. I would expect any nausea related to it to go away within a few hours at the most.

what else can i take if peppermint oil isn't relieving my nausea?

Several things: Try ginger root.  You can use it in stir frys.  Also fennel root and fennel seeds are good as is oregano.

Rule 1: Eat healthy : There is little evidence for what nutrients trigger nausea in certain women in early pregnancy. So unfortunately some must select compatible foods by trial and error. Because there have been many studies showing the benefits of olive oil over other oils, it would be advisable for women to try those first, in proper amounts. Then they should see their physician and nutritionist if nausea persists.

is it normal to feel nausea after taking the fish oil supplement?

Not uncommon, but...: I frequently hear patient's complain of intolerance to fish oil.  However, please consider the many other causes of nausea (see my earlier healthtap answers), and seek evaluation appropriate to your risk factors.

listed side effects for fish oil capsules are nausea and irregular heartbeat.  is this really true?  i don't see  how it could cause nausea.

There are many ways: in which medications can cause nausea. Central CNS, local irritation and psychological. Any of these could apply to fish oil usage.

can inhaling hash oil cause dizziness and nausea? i'm feeling really bad have some chills as well

Yes: Inhaling hash oil with a vaporizer can give you a large amount of THC in only 1 or two inhalations which has been known to cause dizziness and anxiety in some people. I have not read of any chills per se, associated with it.

no bm in 6 days. took miralax x 2 days, dulcolax x 3 doses and had some result with saline enema and mineral oil supp. stomach distended, still passing gas, but no urge to go. no nausea or pain. few bowel sounds with stethoscope ?

Impacted: I think  you've done all you can to relieve what may be a fecal impaction. The abdominal distension suggests partial intestinal obstruction as you are able to pass gas. I would expect some abdominal cramping. A rectal examination is needed and if you are impacted, manual disimpaction is required and is performed by the physician or a nurse under the physicians direction. Either way, get checked.

Get checked: To be sure that you do not have a serious problem with your heart rhythm, i would recommend getting checked out by a healthcare practitioner.

Accepted Answer

Probably: a superficial inflammation of the skin if topical oil reduces pain.  Keep track of the symptoms and if severe then see your doctor.
