last 4 days liquid comes back up when i drink. i can swallow it but it feels like it goes to my throat and im afraid ill aspirate. today after drinking milk it came back up later but it was curdled. been taking prilosec. no pain when swallowing?

Reflux: Please see a gastroenterologist if not already done. It can be just bad reflux or something like stricture or obstruction. May need to change the ppi from omeprazole to a different medication. Also practice life style changes with respect to stopping alcohol and caffeine, acidic foods. Exercise regularly and sleep well.

he has trouble swallowing in the morning sometimes. feels like a blockage in esophagus. liquid goes down so far and comes back up?

Trouble swallowing: May be reflux, gastritis, Barretts esophagus, a stricture in the esophagus or a mass. May also be achalsia, or spasm. F/u with gastroenterologist you need an endoscopy

does swallowing liquid gi cocktail (lidocane viscus, mylanta, donnatal) coat the esophagus? does it obscure plain x-ray view of the esophagus?

It may: The mylanta contains elements that are similar to barium and that will obscur some detail. If there are plans for an upper gastrointestinal study with barium then perhaps reversing the order of the tests will help

Anything come right back up?If so,do you chew your food thoroughly?Any recent illness?Any risk factors for immunocompromise (like HIV)?Any white patches in the mouth?Are you a high-strung or nervous person? Best to see a GI specialist

i am experiencing sever throat pain when swallowing but do not have a cough.  my glands are extremely swollen and i am very tired.  slept a lot the past 48 hours, taking cold medicine and still feel the same - no relief at all.

Doctor can examine: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep). Some throat lozenges and acetaminophen can temporarily decrease pain.

: The FEES study will determine your swallow ability in terms of abnormalities of the upper structures like back of the throat, tongue, muscles, etc. The other tests are indicating that the esophagus itself seems to be functioning normally. But, if there is a neurologic or muscular impairment of the mouth/throat structures, this could lead to the dysphasia and the treatment would be different.

what medicine can you take if nystatin rinse & swallow make you ill? not just nauseous but waves of stomach gripping pains and dumping of bowels. symptoms were extreme pain when swallowing, excess clear mucous, and pain in the esophagus?

: It seems you have used Nystatin solution for oral candidiasis but your symptoms are beyond the oral cavity. You need to take systemic fluconazole for oroesophageal candidiasis. I wonder what your underlying disease is because this condition usually occurs in immunocompromised status.
