No: Rosacea is an inherited condition characterized by extra sensitive skin, flushing, dilated blood vessels, inflammatory bumps that mimic acne, and enlarging bumpy nose.  Common triggers are chronic sun exposure, caffeine, alcohol, and increase in core temperature, etc...The inflammatory reaction of rosacea is not histamine driven as it is in an allergic reaction.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Polymyxin is an effective anti-bacterial.  You could use it without the allergies popping up as it has with others.  However:  are you sure you need this drop?  It seems as if you are using an antibiotic for every eye inflammation, most of which are probably not bacterial.  And in so doing you have sensitized yourself to antibiotics that you might need for an actual infection.

Allergic reactions occur more often in people who have a family history of allergies.

The usual culprits: The causes of allergy are many but the symptoms are predictable & limited. Hives, swelling of hands, feet, eyelids & lips called angioedema, breathing issues due to windpipe swelling or asthma & GI symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain & diarrhea. Since Erythromycin commonly causes GI symptoms it's hard to tell if this is allergy or intolerance when skin or breathing symptoms are absent.

Stop meds, check eye: If you are having headaches, i would stop the Minocycline and isotretinoin.  When given together there is an increased risk of a rare side effect, pseudotumor cerebri.  I would have my eyes checked and if no evidence of pseudotumor, restart either the Minocin (minocycline) or isotretinoin, but not both.  Migraines can also worsen with Isotretinoin and not affect the eyes, but it definitely needs to be ruled out.
