ive experienced pain & burning on one side of my vulva & just inside my vagina for 4 weeks. it hurts mainly during sex. 2 gynos did exam & said nothing is wrong. since it's now been a month, i'm wondering if i should seek an rx?

See MD again: Jen, I would recommend you get checked for herpes as that is the outline of the perineal nerve. Also, if its vestibulodynia, no one treatment is effective for all patients. A number of measures can be taken to prevent irritation and several medications can be used to treat the condition.

Strong pulse: I don't think the strong pulsation is directly related unless your blood pressure becomes elevated from the facial discomfort. Have it checked.

Symptoms:  These symptoms could be from a number of causes. Have you been evaluated for COVID 19? COVID 19 Sx's may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips,  or new onset confusion.

Influenza: You basically just described the symptoms of influenza.  There is a rapid flu test available at most clinics which can be done with a nasal swab. Testing is important so you'll know if you are contagious as well as to enable you to start medication as early as possible to limit symptoms.

Lymph node: It could be a sore lymph node. This could arise from issues with the breast such as low grade infection or a scrape, or scrapes on the hand or forearm that drain these areas. If it is more toward the surface then it might just be an infected hair follicle.

See a doctor...: Cannot tell here what you may have without a complete physical exam. See your primary care doctor for an examination. Hernias are commonly not seen or felt on examination of yourself by yourself, unless the hernia is somewhat large.

Answer: Nonmedical ways of managing GERD are: avoid or cut back on mint, chocolate, citrus, caffeine, alcohol, tomatoes, onions; do not wear anything clothing that is very tight at the waist, do not eat for at least an hour before bedtime, elevate the head of your bed with blocks, have small meals frequently, lose weight if you need to.  The pain that you describe is not commonly associated with GERD
