TMD: I would advise seeking an opinion on the status of your jaw joint or jaw muscles before embarking on Botox therapy.  Spasm of the temporalis muscle may be due to jaw clenching.

Not a good idea: In general because only way to enlarge a muscle (outside of cosmetic surgery) is through exercise and you could end up overloading your jaw joint (tmj).

Not a good idea: In general because over-exercising the jaw muscles (masseters, as in case of brad pitt) could end up overloading the chewing apparatus/jaw joint. I'm afraid brad was just naturally endowed unlike most of us!

No benefit: Micrognathia represents either genetic factors or compression of the jaw before birth by a hyper flexed head. In the later, the jaw will tend to grow out within the first months after birth (as seen is some with pierre robin sequence). Exercises or manipulation has no benefit. Surgical extension of the jaw is possible but should be attempted only by those with extensive experience in the procedure.

Likey TMJ disorder: It sounds like you are experiencing temporomadibular joint disorder. This disorder can come and go throughout a lifetime or become constant. Signs of tmd are pain in the jaw, ear aches, headaches, popping and clicking, and can cause your jaw to lock. This condition is usually brought on by stress, however can develop overtime if your dental bite is not properly aligned. I suggest a prosthodontist.

Try these: Apply warm packs application, try tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen (if no allergies), exercise your jaw ( up & down movement) may help.

May be sensitive: If your jaw muscles are irritated from doing a lot of chewing (gum, for example) or from clenching or grinding your teeth, yawning can overstimulate the muscles causing a spasm. This spasm leads to the feeling of tenseness and pain. Try a soft diet for a week or so and see if this helps. You might want to see your dentist as well.
