See below: Dha has been known to enhance neuronal development in developing brain.  Also known to increase alertness and cognitive development  in infants and toddlers.  Pregnant moms and lactating women are encouraged to take dha supplement, and all  infant formula is supplemented  with it.

Maybe: Toddlers should get about 150 mg/day of the omega-3 fat called DHA for optimal health & brain growth. Many toddlers only get 19 mg/day. They got it in breastmilk/formula, but stopped. The best way to get DHA is from food, such as breastmilk, wild salmon, or eggs high in DHA (the hens had DHA in their diets). But if kids aren't getting enough, i recommend DHA supplement or foods fortified with dha.

DHEA ; DHA: Dhea is a hormone derived from the adrenal glands and a precursor to testosterone.  Dha is an omega 3 fatty acid found in marine fish oil and can be used to manage cholesterol levels and more.  (epa is the other omega 3 fatty acid). Your doc can test for both of these.
