Q: eosinophil count- 0.11[<0.4] monocyte- 0.56[<0.2-0.8] lymphocyte-4.1[1.0-3.4] all elevated! ideas before my hematology appointment,what would u think?

Not all elevated: Eosinophil count 0.11 is normal less than0.4,Monocyte 0.56 is normal less than 0.8 and lymphocyte slightly elevated to 4.1as normal 1.0to3.4.I don't know your history but just blood test is of no concern as far I see

Q: i have consistently low wbc, 3.5& elevated monocyte 12.8, eosinophil 9.1, basophil 2.3, neutrophil 1.5. doctor seems unconcerned & blames it on "allergies" though ive never been diagnosed with, nor have any allergies sx recent barretts dx. help?

Q: is it bad when monocytes abs & eosinophils abs are both high?

How high?: These are the absolute numbers. They mean nothing if the person isn't clinically sick or the numbers aren't way above the reference range (which is set so that several percent of folks fall outside at either end.) they are simply a clue to courses for the workup suggested by symptoms -- for example, night sweats plus very high monocytes whispers "tb", high eos whispers "hodgkin's".

How do you FEEL???: As a pathologist / lab medicine physician, i always remind others to look at the person, not the number. The absolute eosinophil count in the morning (the percentage times the total white count) is usually under 500, but this is meaningless unless there are symptoms or physical findings and i'll assume you're otherwise healthy. If i'm right, ignore it.

Nonspecific ata: Monocytes are basically high class lymphocytes and often elevate with a variety of viral conditions. The data you give is not specific to any issue and not particularly worrisome. No test is as valuable as combining it with the history and exam to come up with an answer.

Viral: May be you Viral infection. Do you have fever for 3 days I need the complete CBC report. Repeat your test next week and see these numbers reverse

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,  it would have helped had you provided the total WBC count.    Wish you good health!
