Multiple causes :-: 1: Bone: broken or bruised;
2: muscles/Tendon: pulled, torn, or tendonitis;
3: Nerves: damaged, inflamed or trapped;
4: Joint/Ligaments: capsulitis, ligament torn/pulled; arthritis, loose bodies, etc.
Suggest you see an Orthopod to be Diagnosed properly.

Give it time: Bruising of the soft tissues can occur even after minor trauma as you have described. Give the sore arm some time and it should heal normally. Use of ice initially should also help.

i have a sore elbow, plus pain radiating from the elbow up and down the arm. mainly on the inside arm. ?

Tendinitis: If there has been no recent injury or overuse, tendinitis of the elbow is most likely. Treatment consists of avoiding strain, alternating cold and warm applications and taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen for a week. If not improved, consult an orthopedic specialist.

i fell on the ice 3 weeks ago & hit my elbow in the fall. area on outside of arm below elbow is still very tender to touch and feels slightly lumpy.

Olecranon Bursitis: The olecranon bursa is a thin sac that cushions the loose skin and the pointy bone at the tip of the elbow. If it becomes irritated or inflamed, fluid can accumulate in the bursa and bursitis will develop.  It is tender and sensitive to pressure, lumpy. NSAIDs and avoidance of direct pressure helps.  Can take weeks to resolve.  If no improvement after a month of treatment, see your doctor

How long?: If you did a lot of recent activity with the arm, the soreness may be muscular and should improve in 3-4 days.   If your elbow actually locks in place where you can not bend or straighten it that's different.  If it locks that is usually a sign of a piece of  loose or damaged cartilage  in the elbow and should be evaluated by your primary care doctor or an orthopedist.

Thoracic outlet: thoracic syndrome is a condition that is caused by compression of nerves or blood vessels. See your PCP for final diagnosis, treatment or referral.

i bend my elbow and i can feel my ulnar nerve move. my arm hurts no matter if its straight or bent. why?

Doubtful.: With flexing and extending (bending a joint), what you are feeling are tendons that act as pulleys and allow the movement.  You cannot be feeling your nerves move.  
It sounds as though you have an inflamed tendon "tenosynovitis" of the elbow or wrist, depending on where the pain is.  If ice and antiinflammatories don't help, see your doctor.

Difficult to say: but could be lymph node, phlebitis, aneurysm, or even tumor.  Best to have your doctor look at it.

Several possibled: Eicondylitis, tendinitis and arthritis sre possible causes. Have the elbow evaluated if the pain persists.

Tendon inflammation : Pain around the inner elbow is likely inflammation of a group of tendons that insert at the elbow. Theses tendons are associated with the muscles that bend your wrist. The bicep problem could be a similar issue with the biceps tendon.
