Signs of Pregnancy: Signs of pregnancy are not the gold standard to tell a female that she is pregnant. There are all kinds of 'signs' that are not in any way diagnostic of pregnancy.  One should do home pregnancy testing if the expected period is delayed or missed. And, not sooner than that.

1 blood test: I suggest a GYN exam and a special blood test called HGG ( beta subunit) qualitative and quantitative. This can be coupled with a pelvic ultrasound.
