Possibly: Strattera (atomoxetine)'s mode of action is like that of the tricyclic antidepressants.  As a result it might have a positive effect on anxiety .  It might make your inattentiveness better, especially if the anxiety is contributing.

Speak to your doctor about Strattera (atomoxetine) and stopping Ritalin if it is making your anxiety symptoms worse.

Venlafaxine affects serotonin  in low doses (75 mg/day), serotonin &amp; norepinephrine at moderate doses (150-225 mg/day) &amp; serotonin, norepinephrine, &amp; dopamine in high doses (300- 375 mg/day)

NO DO NOT THINK SO: Have to be cautious adding Effexor to Strattera. Effexor is an antidepressant and will not really help with ADHD. You need to discuss further with your treating doctor many need another opinion.

Checked in with doc?: There sound to be a lot of things going on at once here and I can't be sure they all have to do with either the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) or some other single problem.  You should call your doc and get in for another examination or have them make some adjustments based on your conditions.  They know you better than anyone.

The  FDA recommends  dosages  similar to  those for  depression , but for both OCD and  for  the anxiety disorders  clinical practice  suggests  dosages  higher that  depression; often  50% or more.  Dosage  is  raised  carefully: use of both  clinical  assessment and  anxiety rating  scales  to assess  progress. Progress takes  patience.
