Very early..: This is very different patient to patient, but the point at which a pregnancy growing in a tube will start to be apparent is about 2-3 weeks after conception.  The signs include:

Outside uterus: Ectopic means outside the place where it is supposed to be. Ectopic pregnancies are unable to sustain themselves as they are not in the uterus.

Kills cells: Chemotherapy drugs are designed to kill or slow down the growth of rapidly dividing cells.  Cancer cells are often rapidly growing.  Similarly a growing embryo during pregnancy has rapidly growing cells.  That is why a chemotherapy drug such as Methotrexate is effective.

Call your gyn: U may have pelvic adhesions, endometriosis or something else u need evaluation, it should not be painful if you have waited the proper amount of time after the ectopic before having it.

No: Or more exactly, at 2 weeks after conception the ectopic pregnancy sign (not a symptom) would be identical to a normal pregnancy: you miss a period and have a positive pregnancy test.  Absolutely nothing else; good wishes to you.

Very small: The failure rate of all methods of "tubal ligation" are very low, and some studies suggest that the falope rings have the lowest failure rate.  It is hard to quote the exact chance of an ectopic pregnancy under these circumstances, but it is increased if you get pregnant.  The answer is - extremely unusual / rare.

Heart beat starts: In an odd place in the small chamber(s) of the heart instead of the node that is supposed to fire off the heart.  This electrical trigger is above the level of the big chambers (the ventricles) so it is supra ventricular and it's not supposed to work that way so it's ectopic too.The n-n interval is a distance on the ekg that shows the length of 1 entire heart beat. Search 'heart rate variability'.
